Realizing small to mid-sized companies often need the expertise of a chief financial officer but cannot afford the financial investment it takes to hire a quality full-time CFO, Mike founded PlusPoint Consulting in 2010.
Mike has been helping companies successfully plan and manage growth for more than 20 years as CFO, COO, or CEO. His reputation as a mentor and leader has spanned industry segments including medical devices, hi-tech, manufacturing, sporting goods and more. Business planning, financial analysis, strategic development as well as team development are what drive him the most.
Kari is an executive leader who has the super power to take a vision and make it a reality through sound strategy development. A seasoned CFO and Operational executive, Kari is known for her tenacity and passion for building teams and processes that drive growth, build values, achieve business outcomes, and deliver on strategic goals. As CEO of PlusPoint, she intuitively sees opportunities in organizations and is able to help others embrace the vision and drive results.
After spending over 30 years leading strategic initiatives, driving process improvement, fundraising, solving business problems and positioning finance as a strategic partner in growing companies, across industries that include healthcare services, software-as-a-service, manufacturing, distribution and more, Kari understands how to navigate the joys and pitfalls of a growing organization. This is demonstrated by her success in helping secure millions of dollars in growth funding, guiding the organizational change necessary to achieve a significant financial turnaround, driving dramatic improvement in an underperforming customer service organization, and leading the financial efforts to close 11 strategic acquisitions and 3 public offerings within a 2-year window. Her passion lies in leveraging these experiences to help organizations thrive and build something meaningful and enduring.
Kari is a faithful 49er and SF Giants fan. Baseball is her favorite season, and one day she hopes to say she has seen the Giants play in every major ballpark, which explains her love of traveling. She balances her working hours by spending time with family and friends, fitness and boating in the summer months.
Kari – what makes you, you?
“I have an enduring belief in myself and the people around me. I am resilient, adaptable, determined and willing to take risk to achieve meaningful goals.”
